APPLYING FOR STAFF



REQUIREMENTS BEFORE APPLYING:


  • You must have been playing on the server for 30 days or more. If you've recently left for longer than 30 days, you must wait and play for another 30 days.
  • You must be active. Your average playtime must reach or exceed 1 hour per day.
  • You must be mature. Your actions show your maturity more than your age.
  • If you have a previously closed application, you must wait 30 days to re-apply.
  • You must be able to enforce and follow the rules. You shouldn't apply if you've recently received a mute or ban.
  • You must be a respectful player. Don't apply if staff are often reminding you to keep the rules in mind.
  • Make sure you use the correct format when applying.
  • Make sure all your information is up to date. If you reuse an old application, make sure you update it.
  • You must be fluent in English, as this is an English server. You must be able to communicate with staff and players smoothly. If players have trouble understanding you, or you have difficulty understanding them, you may want to reconsider applying.

APPLICATION FORMAT:


  • Include a photo from your time on the server!
  • Your in-game username:
  • Your discord username (Name#1234):
  • What age are you?
  • What languages are you fluent in?
  • What is your timezone?
  • What times are you usually online?
  • Roughly what date did you join the server?
  • Why do you want to be staff?
  • Have you made any previous applications before?
  • Have you been staff on a server before? If so, for how long?
  • Do you have any experience coding?
  • What is something new or unique that you would bring to the team?

    • Hypothetical Scenarios,

    You would have tempban up to 24 hours, mute, warn and kick:

  • First Scenario: Multiple players are in the middle of a heated argument over their towns being built too close together in the global chat. How would you handle the situation?:
  • Second Scenario: A player is frequently causing minor issues in chat and upsetting other players but isn’t outright breaking any rules. How would you handle the situation?:
  • How did you find The Red Dragon, and why did you choose The Red Dragon over other servers?:
  • What is your favorite thing/feature on The Red Dragon and why?:
  • Anything else we should know?:

HOW TO APPLY:


  • To apply for staff, join our Discord, register your account, and post your application in the staff applications forum!

SHARE LINK


  • Once you've completed and filled in your application, you can grab the share link to post on the Discord.

POSTING ON DISCORD


  • Post your application link in the staff-applications channel. Include a photo from your time on the server with a small explanation as to why you chose that photo! This prevents your app from being previewed by other players and can help your application stand out to staff!
